Sketch – Passage to North Manitou Island

Another working sketch posted, the transit from Sleeping Bear Point to North Manitou Island. The queasiness associated with exposing works in progress is becoming less of an issue. I think this sketch works and gets the idea across. There’s enough structure there to remind me where I want to go with it, and I’ve become pretty familiar with the raw content it’s extracted from. I usually fret about the soundtrack and creating a fortunate visual rhythm, but I am kinda proud that I didn’t get all precious. Cutting to music is fun stuff that I can breeze through later.
